Simple and Easy Origami for Kids Step by Step

simple and easy origami ideas for kids step by step instructions. These origami instructions are easy to follow and is suitable for
beginners. Your kids would really love doing this simple paper folding activity at home or school. Try it out.
Materials needed: Easy origami can be prepared with standard square origami paper and a glue stick. You can also add beads for final decoration.
1. Easy Lotus Origami for Kids Step by Step
- Take a square origami paper 15cm* 15cm.
- Fold the paper into half to form a triangle.
- Fold one end of the paper slightly to find the center.
- Now fold from center on the dotted lines from both the sides.
- Lotus is now ready. Aren't they beautiful? The same instructions can be used for making Water Lilies and Tulips.

2. Boat Origami Step by Step
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half and half again to form a square.
- Bring one side from the center to the corner.
- Fold the rest of the 3 sides to the opposite corner.
- Hold from inside and pull the corners to outside.
- The boat is now ready.

3. Envelope Origami for Beginners.
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half to form a triangle.
- Open the paper and fold it again into triangle till you see the cross line.
- Fold the two opposite sides to the centre.
- Fold the bottom side a little more to the centre to stick both the sides.
- Envelope is now ready. You can send a cute letter.

4. Easy Origami Fish
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half to form a triangle.
- Then fold it into half again to form a small triangle.
- Open the paper and then fold it into half to form a rectangle. You can see an impression of a triangle.
- Fold both the corners one by one in the middle to form a triangle. You can see two triangles, one in the front and the other at the back.
- Fold the back side triangle to the centre to form the tails.
- Fish is now ready. Hola! The Shark is here. Watch out!

5. Easy House Origami Step by Step
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half to form a rectangle.
- Open the paper and bring both the sides to the centre line and fold it.
- Now fold the paper backward to form a square.
- Open the paper to fold from both sides to form a square by bringing both the sides to the centre.
- Put the finger inside and pull out both the sides one by one to form the roof.
- Turn the paper backside.
- House is now ready. You can make a nice tree house with this easy origami house.

6. Easy Cup and Saucer Origami Step by Step
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half to form a rectangle
- Open the paper and bring both the sides to the centre line and fold it.
- Now fold the paper backward to form a square.
- Open the paper to fold from both sides to form a square by bringing both the sides to the centre.
- Put the finger inside and pull out both the sides one by one to form the saucer.
- Turn the paper backside.
- Cup and Saucer is now ready. You can now serve some hot tea to your mom. Just kidding.

7. Easy Crow Bird Origami Step by Step
- Take a square origami paper. To make a crow, you need a Black Colored Origami.
- Fold the paper into half to form a triangle.
- Open it and fold the two corners to the centre line.
- Now fold the bottom corners to the centre line
- Fold the paper to the centre line as shown below
- Fold one corner to form a beak backside.
- Crow is now ready. You can have fun with your favorite bird.

8. Easy Pinwheel Origami for Beginners Step by Step
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half to form a rectangle.
- Open the paper and bring both the sides to the center line.
- Now fold the paper to form a square.
- Now open the paper again and bring both the sides to the center line.
- Open all the four sides with your finger one by one.
- Bring two opposites one upward and the other downward.
- Pinwheel is now ready. This one is really fun and cute. You can actually play with it.

9. Origami Photo Frame
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half and half again to form a square.
- Open the paper and then fold one by one to the centre point
- Fold all the four sides one by one inside.
- Turn the paper backward and fold all the four corners to the centre.
- Frame is now ready. Stick your favorite picture.

10. Simple and Easy Origami Star
- Take a square origami paper.
- Fold the paper into half to form a triangle.
- Open it and fold the two corners to the center line.
- Now fold the bottom corners to the center line.
- Fold the paper to the centre line as shown below.
- Repeat the same steps for three origami papers of same colors.
- Stick two papers into another with a help of glue.
- Stick the third paper at the back as shown in the below picture.
- Star is now ready. You can paste in on your wall for some nice decoration.
